Field Medical, Inc. (FMI) was founded in 2022 by Dr. Steven Mickelsen. It was named after the electrical “field” which is the cornerstone of PFA technology. Field Medical aims to revolutionize cardiology by bringing the most advanced ablation tools to market. Our mission is to enable physicians, cardiologists, and patients to achieve the best possible outcomes during cardiac ablation procedures. We do this by building advanced pulsed field ablation catheters that are highly effective, yet minimize unintended impacts on surrounding areas of the body.
